Joe Zuk is a visionary leader in the financial services industry, known for driving innovation and delivering impressive growth. With extensive experience advising companies of all sizes – from ambitious startups to established industry leaders – Joe has helped businesses unlock their full potential and achieve remarkable results.

Currently serving as Operating Partner at Altamont Capital Partners (ACP), Joe is dedicated to accelerating growth and optimizing operations within ACP’s portfolio of financial services companies. Beyond his leadership role, he also provides expert consulting, independent board services, and invests in cutting-edge early-stage companies, particularly in the areas of insurance, fintech, AI, crypto, and other emerging financial technologies.

Prior to joining ACP, Joe was Managing Director of Corporate Development & Strategy at Orchid Underwriters, where he led the development of innovative solutions, including a proprietary segregated cell captive reinsurance facility, and formed strategic partnerships with top carriers. He also drove mergers and acquisitions, spearheaded operational strategy, and recruited exceptional talent to the organization.

Earlier, Joe played a pivotal role at Atlas General Holdings, overseeing the expansion of its commercial P&C property catastrophe divisions and leading corporate development initiatives. His career also includes more than a decade as a successful reinsurance broker and underwriter, building a broad, global network.

A graduate of New York University, where he focused on finance, history, and cinema, Joe is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of financial services leaders, helping them navigate and succeed in the fast-evolving insurance industry.
